Where Are You, Really?

The first step isn't knowing what to do. It's knowing where you actually are.

This two-minute clarity check will help you better understand where you are today...
because only then does the next step make sense.

about me

What I bring into a room.

I trained and worked as an accountant, registered tax agent, and authorised financial adviser, then spent over a decade in business — including growing a network of 27 accounting partners through sustained, hands-on growth. When I sit in on a meeting and discuss your business, I'm not nodding along. I understand the numbers, the structure, what's actually at stake.

Alongside that, I trained in strategic psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy, and breathwork — not as a side interest, but because the advisory work kept running into the same wall.

Businesses don't get stuck for purely operational reasons. The founder does, and the business follows. I use these modalities with clients when the work genuinely calls for them — not as a label I lead with, but as real tools I'm trained to use.

Most consultants see the problem. Most coaches and therapists see the person. I see the problem, the human, and the pattern underneath both — because I trained for all three, deliberately, on purpose. And then spent years finding out exactly how true that is, in my own life as well.

WHO I AM NOW

I found the freedom I spent years chasing.

These days I live in Sydney, after years of being anywhere but. I'm mum to Valeriya, my life’s wild adventure. I share a full, blended, slightly chaotic life with my partner, his daughter, a cat and a dog who between them have turned me into someone who vacuums more than I'd like to admit.

I'm choosy about my people now, the way I'm choosy about most things that matter. Like how I spend my time. I love a slow Sunday, with an old-fashioned cook book and a glass of good wine… A swim in the ocean, a good dance, a book that wrecks me a little… But honestly, between the girls, the pets, the work and all of it — these become things I have to fight for. And fight for them I do.

My stillness surprises people who only know the busy, capable version of me — retreats, real quiet, nature, the kind of depth most people schedule around rather than into. I've come to believe there's something larger holding all of this, and I don't need to explain it to know it's true.

I've found the freedom I spent years chasing. It doesn't stay constant — it still fades, some weeks more than others. But the work now isn't about staying perfectly steady. It's in how fast I find my way back to what's real.

How I got here.

None of this came from a course, even though some of it did. Most of it came from living.

I was Dux of my school, a Dean's Scholar in Uni — the kind of kid who excelled at the things you could measure. What that doesn't show: by 14 I was also working, paying my own board, coming home with blisters and going back the next day. I'd already worked out that the ground can disappear without warning, and the only insurance I had was myself.

By 17 I'd run as far as Macedonia. I came back, eventually. I rebuilt. I got very good at forward motion — and for a long time, that looked like strength.

Then life kept testing. A business I'd built, let go of for reasons that had nothing to do with whether it was working. A loss I wasn't ready for. The early, disorienting years of motherhood — loving someone fully and still being, underneath it, in over my head.

A marriage ending. Years of being extremely good at moving forward, and not particularly good at feeling anything along the way.

It took years of sitting with myself, properly, in rooms and spaces built for exactly that, to learn the difference between moving forward and running. What I found wasn't the collapse I'd been afraid of. It was just the truth, waiting. Patient as water.

That's where this work actually comes from. I'm not guessing when I say a business needs structure. I'm not theorising when I tell a client their business is fine and they're the one who's checked out. I've been the person avoiding something I couldn't name. I know both rooms from the inside.

I'm not telling you any of this to be impressive. I don’t think it is. I'm telling you because I think it matters who's in the room with you when things get honest. When they get vulnerable… and when they get intimate.

Whoever you end up working with — me or someone else — make sure it's someone who's actually done their own work. Someone who has had to.

A person can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves.

I've spent a long time meeting myself, every part of it.

I know, in my bones, what it costs to carry what you haven't looked at. And I know what's waiting once you finally do.

That's what I bring into the room with you, before we've even started.

Client Love

If you’re looking for someone to simply motivate you, there are plenty of coaches who can do that. If you’re looking for someone who will fundamentally change the way you understand yourself, your patterns, your leadership and your life, Danielle is unlike anyone I’ve worked with.

When I’m facing a difficult decision, feeling stuck, or trying to work through a challenge, she’s the first person I call. I honestly can’t imagine my business without her.

— In Residence client, Founder, Finance Business

What I discovered was that the biggest thing holding me back wasn’t a lack of capability. It was the weight I was carrying, the stories I believed, and the patterns I’d spent years repeating without even realising.”

She reads a business quickly, tells you what actually matters, and gets it done. No fluff. Execution. And in the most humble, human way.

— In Residence client, CEO,  Residential Building Company

She's rebuilt our systems, strengthened our compliance, improved our workflows, introduced accountability, refined our processes — but perhaps her greatest contribution has been helping us become better people and a stronger team.

— In Residence client, Founder, Finance

She quickly identified that many of the challenges we thought were isolated problems were actually symptoms of gaps in our systems, leadership, accountability and hiring

— In Residence client, CEO,  Residential Building Company

She doesn't simply tell you what should happen. She builds it with you, implements it, holds people accountable and keeps moving the business forward

— In Residence client, Founder, Finance

Her ability to help me understand and process the things holding me back has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.

— The Inner Room client

Going through our files in detail, spotting gaps before they became real problems... I felt supported and it genuinely took a load off my mind.

— Project Client, Founder, Finance

She challenges you with kindness, never lets you hide behind excuses, but always creates enough safety that you're willing to look at the parts you've spent years avoiding.
